post-op update (long)

I'm so sorry you went through such an ordeal, but I'm so glad you are home now and resting! Drink your fluids, rest and walk and hopefully it will all be down hill from here.

awww Shelli, im sorry your day got started rough.. but you made me laugh with the bed story.
im really anxious to see how the next few days go for ya.. my surgery is in a few wks. :)

Shelli - After reading your post I had a little deja vu......surgery @ Rex, late getting into the OR and being given ginger ale by a NA! I had a couple of others but we wont go into them.

Glad that all-in-all your doing well. Keep up on the pain med's as I'm sure you see they help a lot! Softened that collapsing bed...sorry, I had to go there - also guilty of a little giggle ; (

Oh jeez Shelli!!! I was the first surgery on the books when I had mine done... I would of starved to death if I had to wait like you did!! you handled yourself way better then I would have!!! and ya WTF was that nurse thinking offering you coke??? HELLO WAKE UP PEOPLE!! IVe had that happen before and its right in front of them that I had RNY and I know its not the first time they have ever seen the word RNY or Lap Band. Glad to hear your are done and home.. welcome to the losers bench!!
