Going Down down down

Had another loss of two pounds within the past few days.
I could kick myself for not keeping a food record before but hey we learn from our mistakes.
I also read that when you exercise like I am doing sometimes there is a weight gain but it is the muscles holding onto fluid just like Andrea said to me.
I am also sure canned cheese and cheese straws from HT did not help either.
I will be a year out this week and Thursday night I had something get stuck.
We had some turkey breast and oh yes it made me beg for mercy

I have found that if poultry is to dry it gets stuck so matter how much i chew.  It is not a good feeling at all.   Glad to see the scale moving again.  What is canned cheese and cheese straws?  never heard of it.

Take care, Pam

Maybe I should not tell you LOL it got me in big trouble.
I will tell you for the sake of avoiding those items LOL
Kraft puts out Easy Cheese in the can it comes in many flavors.
HT has these cheese straws usally located near the deli they come in a box and cost way to much like to the tune of 3.99
I still have a few cans of cheese but i record it every time I use it on a rice cake.
Actually the rice cakes are very filling I get the big ones LOL

Now i know what they are..had them years ago but prefer real cheese.   lol   We all have our vices that we need to stay away from and mine is a sweet tooth that i usually satisfy with a pc of fruit or strawberries or blackberries with a little bit of splenda.   Keep up the good work Annie.

You know me Christin I am devoted to getting to 200lbs one way or the other.
What is going on with you?
I thought about you when I rewarded myself with a dip in the hot tub yesterday.
I talked to Karen at UNC and the next meeting will be on the 19th.

Annie,
You are such an inspiration to me.  I have never kept a food journal but I think I am going to start one.  I am having a really hard time right now making good food choices.  I am job hunting and the stress of having no money coming in while the bills keep rolling in is getting to me.  I find myself resorting back to "comfort" foods or in other words, junk foods.  I only have 13 more lbs to get to goal and I want to get there so bad but I am really struggling with making the right choices with my eating.  So I think I will try the journaling and see if that helps.  Congrats on your success and keep posting ~ you are helping people like me to stay motivated!!

Hugs,
Donna

PS ~ I love that canned cheese and cheese straws too!!!  Dang devil food!!!!!!!!

Hi Donna,
Thanks for your kind words.
Job hunting can be stressful no doubt about it.
Where I got in trouble was just looking at carbs and protien not reading the whole picture my bad.
I have found sparkepeople to be really helpful to me but of course there are other sites to help record food intake.
Hope you find a job soon and dont forget stay away from the cheese straws at HT.
