Mom has her pacemaker

Thank you all for the well wishes today.
All went very well.
Her surgery was longer than they planned because..... they had a hard time treading the wires through her adipose tissue meaning the fat around her shoulder.
One more reason to take care of ourselves.
I am so hugrey right now I feel like I could eat the house down.
I did take two protien bars with me and that helped through the day.
Going to change and get my grapes out and work on my fluid intake the rest of the day.
In the morning I am picking mother up and we have all decided it would be good for her to stay at the full care unit where she lives for 48 hours and then go home.
The bulldogs are totally enjoying thier cousin the poodle named Prof.

Glad to hear the good news about your mom, Annie.  I'm proud of you for getting home and immediately focusing in on what you need to do for your own health. 

Enjoy your little guest and hopefully there won't be too many jealousy issues arise when he snuggles in your bed tonight!  ;)

Yes Pam they are thinking some of the falling had to do with her electric impuleses(sp) with her heart rate.

I'm glad your Mom is doing well, you've all been in my thoughts and prayers.  Even with all this going on you're still getting your routine, keep up the great work.  Seems one thing different throws my whole day off.
