OT Mama Mia!!!
I am trying to do things when I take a day off that I love to do and that is going to the movies
I just went and saw Mamma Mia! and it was sooooooooo good!!! I loved all the ABBA music and now I want to go Greece on my next journey when hubby gets back LOL anyways it was funny because the music was popular when I was a little girl and my mom used to LOVE it, the people in the audience (mostly woman, I think I saw one man) were my moms age and they were all clapping and singing and some started dancing! it was great! I saw the show in London and both are very different, I like the movie better. Meryl Streep did a excellent job. If anyone from this area ever wants to sneak off to a matinee let me know!!!

I so want to go see that movie but have no one in my life that would see it with me. I think I should start up a meetup group of women that want to see movies and musicals and other fun flicks that don't include shootemup and kung fu and monsters and psychos. My family doesn't want to see Beverly Hills Chihuahua either. I go to see stuff like Wanted, Han**** and Batman all the time but they won't go to the ones I really want to see. .

I have got to go see that. My DIL wanted to go to a movie Sun. I would have loved to have seen Mamma Mia, but she didn't think she'd like "all that singing". So we wound up seeing "Dark Knight". VERY dark, very violent. I have always gone to the movies alone, since my DH hates sitting that long in those skinny seats. I'll have to go see Meryl by myself, I guess.
We haven't even seen the movie yet but have been singing "Mama Mia" & dancing through the house at the drop of a hat around here anyway, thanks to the movie trailers! (15yo daughter & 8yo son & I!) Can hardly wait to see it, especially now with Darcie's review, but are going to have to because we are sacrificing every extra to save for the surgery...which is gonna be worth it!
I *LOVE* Meryl and I'm a major movie addict! Have been making notes of various "treats" post-op and the movie theatre just got added to the list.
