Revision went well...

I had my ROSE revision yesterday, and it went very well... Dr. Voellinger used seven anchors, to make both the stoma and pouch smaller.... other than sore throat, I feel great.... surgery started at 12:30 and I was home by 5:30.... I am grateful for this second chance.... and amazed how far WLS and revisions have come!  Take care you all... Mike

Mike,  I've been waiting for your update and was so happy to see a post from you!  Especially happy to hear that everything went so well.  :)  Hope the sore throat is better soon and that this second chance will be everything you could have ever hoped it would be.  You take care and know that we'll be looking forward to your updates on how everything is going for you in the weeks to come!

So glad to hear that you are home and recovering.  Does your profile have more to say about the procedure you had?  (I know, get a load of me:  not even a year out and already I am thinking about revisions!  LOL)  Was this similar to the Stomaphyx procedure?
