Finally got my son to take so pics that aren't all blurry.  I am happy to report that 83 lbs are gone and I am still hoping to get to my 6 month surgiversary and be down 100 lbs. Annie really has been a big inspiration for my exercise.   Since he has been raining all week when i get home from work, i couldn't exercise in the pool but after reading one of her post, i carried my fat butt to my exercise bike and pedaled away and read a book.  Thanks Annie! Take care all, Pam

Hello Pam, from a newbie!  I really enjoyed seeing your photos...you are doing *fantastic!*  It still amazes me beyond words how a person can lose 83 lbs. in just 5 mos.  Holy cow!  Sounds like you are very likely to be down 100 lbs. by next month.  Keep up the great job!  :)  Shauna

Thanks Shauna....this has been a whirlwind!  I never thought it was possible, especially at my age (53) and being in the throes of menopause when everything seems to slow down.

Welcome to the board and feel free to ask any questions you may have.   Part of my success is due to the wonderful people here who offer tons of information, support and inspiration!

Have you decided on surgery?

Take care, Pam

wow! Looking good . Keep up the good work. I must be a slow looser. You are doing sooooo good. The exercise is paying off. That is what I NEED TO DO. I keep making excuses. Myrtis

Ohhhhhhhh...I am the queen of excuses.  it didnt' help that my thyroid went low so no wt loss for almost a month but that has been regulated.   I know I couldn't do it without the support here and watching Annie hit the exercise twice a day. Good luck, Pam

Looking Good Ms Pam!! You are doing great even if you do say you had a slow period. We are at about the same amount since surgery. I need a stat bike then maybe I wouldnt use the heat as an excuse.Keep it up!!! Melissa

Thanks!   The pool is the best for summer and our yard is pretty secluded which makes it really nice.   I can work in the yard in my bathing suit and not scare anyone and then jump in the pool to cool off.    Pam
