Has anyone tried Spanx, what kind and where did you find them?  Do they really help hold up the saggy buttocks, LOL!  I live in Beaufort so Jacksonville would be closest.

Target sells "assets" which is made my spanx but they are much cheaper - Ive bought them there and like them a lot. I tried spanx when I was bigger (I bought at lane bryant so I was still in the plus size) and they squeezed way too much and just squished the fat out the top/bottom - Im sure being smaller now they would work but the assets have done me just fine. I have heard a lot of good stuff about Dr Reys Shapewear (the guy from Dr90210) and I believe Macys sells it? Havent checked it out thou.

I got my Spanx from the Burlington Bridal Store to wear under my wedding dress. I was expecting them to fit more like a girdle but they weren't like that at all. I was more worried about my tummy than my rear, so I can't help yo there. Kelly

I got two pair at a Hallmark in Rocky Mount (of all places!) and I like them alot. They take awhile to get into, but I like the way they pull everything in when I'm in them. In fact, I think it's time for a new pair.. my old ones shouldn't fit anymore.

I've worn Assets from Target and as Jennifer said they are a lighter version of SPANX. I'm planning to try the Dr. Rey's products for my son's wedding that's coming up soon. They carry them at SEARS and you can get them online at SEARS and I think HSN or QVC.

I bought DR. Reys shape wear at Sears. I researched and did consumer report search. From what I seen this was the best you could buy. They are a little expensive $40.00 for one. But, So far i am very pleased. The one I bought comes up to just under the breast and are mid thigh. These stay in place. I have not had any problem with them rolling and the mid thigh do not show under slacks. That is one thing i am real caustious about. I spent the first month asking my sisters and nieces are you sure you can't see any lines. They also are not binding. They are a litttle hard to get on but once they are in place they are comfortable enough to wear all day.  In my opinion they are well worth the price.

I love, love, love the Assets Camisoles.  They really hold things in. I also am impress with the panties. I have tried the "biker shorts" underwear yet.  Assets are made by the same company (Spanx)...much more affordable, I think.
