Hello All my Slim lovely Ladies, Well yesterday I went for my follow up to see the plastic surgeron and he said I was doing GREAT.. Ladies , I can not put into words how much better I feel without that horrible hanging skin. Although a full blown tummy tuck would have been great , just having the panni removed is wonderful and covered under insurance-- so if any of you are now or know in the future you may need some extra skin removed I MUST reccomend Felmont Eaves at Charlotte Plastic Surgery, he and his staff are wonderful, you feel like a Princess under thier care, the bedside manner is perfect and I can not say enough about my results. Dr Eaves did a center cut across my belly and removed over 6 pounds of skin in my case it did the trick -- I promise to get the DH to take some photos tonight and put them on my profile . Really if you even think you may consider Plastic Surgery do take a trip to see Dr Eaves you will not regret it.  Love to you all and God Bless.  Allison

Hi Allison,

I'm delighted to hear that you have had such a wonderful result. I was just showing my mother my 'extra skin' yesterday and lamenting that I'll never be able to get it taken care of, but I'm so glad that you have and are so pleased with your result.

Congratulations!

Barb

That is wonderful news, Allison.  I am so happy for you.  Maybe someday I will be ready and able to address the excess skin issues.  Sure would be nice...  But honestly, I still have some weight to lose and want to be sure I am where I need to be and holding there for a good long while before I even consider plastics!

Hi Allison, This is great to read about how happy you are with your surgery. When I lost my first 300lbs they removed my panni too they actually removed 21 pounds and cut me from hip to hip and made a new belly button. Even tho I will still have to have more plastics done I am so glad I had that hanging stomach cut off. Any medical place that treats you like a princess is alright in my book.                                  Annie Higs to Pugs

Hey Allison: Glad to hear you are doing so well.   When i get rid of the rest of my excess baggage i will definitely need a lower body lift and will remember Dr. Eaves.   Hope they will roll in what insurance pays to a larger job.  How long were you off work?    Take care, Pam

thank you all so very much.   I was out of work for 4 weeks and really need it to be honest. I had a drain for 2 weeks and the cut is almost 30 inches so it does need some special care.  WOW Annie, you have done GREAT and I will give the Pugglet a hug for you , he is such a lover boy . Last night I brought home a big box filled with doggie bones from Smith and Fosters mail order ( prepairing for my vacation I am forced to fill the cabinet with doggie goodies ) -- I swear to you the Pug can read , before the evening was over he had a bone, he pitches a fit when he knows there are bones in that cabinet- and yes HE knows what cabinet has his stuff he is such a smart boy. Of course the other 3 K9's follow his lead.  Good day my lovely friends Allison
