Congrats on your date! It is so normal to be nervous and excited at the same time. If you weren't ...don't think you would be normal. You have to decide what to tell ppl at work but my personal experience was great and i couldn't have asked for more support! I am 4 1/2 months post surgery and can't say enough about the ppl i work with...they are the best. I work in an office with over 150 ppl and have not heard any negativity. Take care and good luck. Please remind us when you get close to your date so we can say a prayer for you. PAM

Congrats! That a was a super fast turn around. I have BCBSNC State Teachers and I know they are tough. However, when I had WLS I had United Health Care. This is so exciting. Your day will be here before you know it.

Unfortunately, I had to delete this post due to privacy concerns.

Got a lap band in 2008. Tried hard, but didn't lose much weight & developed swallowing problems. Fought my insurance company for almost a year & finally had a band to DS revision on 5/11/12. Have now lost 125 pounds. Yay!
