Dunnow how many of you hang out around the Main Board or the RNY board.. but this is the newest craze. It's as simple as putting your favorite shake mix into a little ice cream maker and enjoying.  I had a super high protein strawberry ice cream the other day.. One cup was 256 cals, like 4g fat, and 36! g protein. The possibilities are endless.. just another easy way to enjoy your protein :-)

LOVE the recipes eggface has. I bought an ice cream maker yesterday and made myself some strawberry cheesecake ice cream today. Yumm-o! :)

Walmart, here I come.  Are you serious?  I can just throw a protein shake in the ice cream maker and have protein ice cream???  Is it the same consistency as ice cream?   Heck, you can get a little ice cream maker for less than $20!

If you use a milk other than skim it will have a creamier texture. I ate part of my first batch immediately, and it was creamy.  Put the other part in the freezer and it was *hard*.. so if you want a creamier ice cream, use 2% milk.
