AAACCCCKKK! Only 2 weeks from tomorrow!!!

Yikes!!! The day I thought would never get here is coming up fast!!! Why does it seem like all the excitement has suddenly turned to fear/nervousness??? I start the dreaded 2 week liquid diet tomorrow, also, and I'm worried about being able to do this.... I've heard it referred to as the "two week freak"....and I guess truer words were never spoken! LOL!

Isn't it amazing how time flies and stands still all at the same time? Just breath. You are so ready for this just make sure you save me a spot on the losers bench. Had it not been for some previously scheduled vacations in the office I work in I would have been having surgery this coming Friday. I needed the August date just to get my head around all of this. You will do fine....just take how many shakes they want you to have a day and divide it out so they are evenly spaced.   That way you never get to the starving point.    It really does go faster than you think.    The fear and nervousness is also so very normal.   If you didn't feel like that, you wouldn't be normal.     My prayers are with you, Pam

I think the 'freak' is more about the life changes than it is about the 'liquid' diet. You can do this and it is going to make an incredible difference in your life. Take it one moment at a time. Pam is right about trying to space them out so that you don't get hungry. Congratulations on launching on one of the most exciting, life changing experiences of your life. I'm sure that you will look back on this sweetly a year from now.

Lisa, We all have the same feelings when the time gets near. You will do just fine. The first few days will be an adjustment, but after that it's a breeze. Just keep on thinking about the Big picture. You are in good hands with Dr. Kuwada. Keep us posted. Reenie
