Hey I am new!

Hi I am new and in the process of getting banded. I have all my consults and tests scheduled for this month. Dont have a surgery date. I am working on financing for this I am self pay. My insurance has a no wls clause. So send good luck vibes and prayers for my financing. I am nervous about the whole process but know things will be better once it is all over. I understand that you said that your insurance has a no WLS clause in it. My husband's does as well, but we found out that someone at his work had theirs approved and had their surgery last year even though there is a no WLS clause. I would submit through the insurance and go through the appeals process; you might just end up with a pleasant surprise. If not, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
