Meeting in Jacksonville tonight

I really had a great time and enjoyed meeting new people. It was great meeting one just starting this journey , one about to have surgery and some that are old salts at this voyage! I had a great time tonight too!!! It was so nice to get to so many other people about the process and to see how different it is for everyone.  You are all a huge inspiration to me! You have no idea! I'm in awe of your strength, courage and perseverance.  Thank you for including me and I very much look forward to future meeting, although I won't be eating the burger and fries next time!! Hey Beth...it was great to meet you too.And it is such a small world who knew I would meet someone who knew our community police woman! LOL. Yes the ladies who have gone before us and have done so well are such an inspiration. They have wonderful strength...I don't know that I could include myself in that group cuz sometimes I feel like I have been kickin' and screamin thru this whole thing. Oh yeah with a few tears along the way too. But I still would do it again tomorrow! Glad you enjoyed your carbs! LOL Wont be long and you will have a plate that resembles mine!  Melissa

I had a great time at Fuddruckers, too!!  You guys are the best!!  It was so nice to see you all!!  Melissa, it is so neat to see how you've changed since our last WLS mom's meeting.  You sure are shrinking, girl!  Beth, I'm so glad you were able to make it!!  These meetings are a real life saver when it comes to WLS and your success!  I know you're gonna kick some butt with your RNY.  We're saving a spot on the loser's bench for you!!  Can't wait till our next get together!  Be Blessed! It was nice seeing everyone!  I'm glad you got to join us!!!!  When Rex and I left he said he was glad he came, I had been asking him to come with me but he said he thought he'd feel out of place.  He was very surprized how welcome he felt - thank you ALL for that!  I'm going to check out the pics now... yikes!   Have a great 4th!!!
