We're going to try a new location for the monthly Raleigh Get Together

The monthly Raleigh Area Get Together has been such a booming success that as many of you know, we have been bursting at the seams at Perkins. So it was time to find a new venue that would allow us to have a private meeting room. I want to thank everyone who has contributed ideas and information to help this support group continue to meet on a regular basis. I have looked at a number of venues, including church meeting rooms, libraries, community centers and other restaurants. This seems to be the easiest to reach and will accomodate our schedule and allow us to have a private room.

For now we are going to try the Golden Corral on Millbrook Rd in Raleigh (Right off of Capital Blvd.)

This is great. I sure as heck need some help-- I must not be doing something right. I am having a VERY difficult time emotionally and with determining what I can tolerate to eat. I HATE eating now.

I really look forward to meeting you and getting to know you. I remember being where you are so very well. The good news is that 'this too shall pass.' When I was where you are now, I had a meltdown and wondered what in the world I had done to myself. I thought I'd never be able to function normally again. Well, I'm 13 months out now and I'm here to tell you that I can function normally and more than that I have my health back. I know it's hard, but it will get better and it's worth it.
