I am so happy this morning
First of all as I look out my window I can see the shiny magnolia leaves it really is beutiful to be able to see them.
Yesterday a member of this forum had her first appointment for WLS.
I am so proud of her for making the choice and following her heart.
My friend is younger than myself but that is what is so wonderful.
She has her whole life in front of her and has been given the chance to start a whole new life with wls.
I plan on being there for her every step of the way.
So CHEERS to my friend for being so brave and smart.

Hi Lynn,
I am so happy for you.
Sometimes we find out in certain situations who is there for us.
I know Lee has been there for me the whole way and without him I dont think I could have gotten this far.
I thanked him the other day for allowing me to save my life.
He works a full time job as a meat cutter and I do my demos each week sometimes one a week sometimes two but never once has he complained.
We are fortunate to have each other and just have fur and feathered babies.
I am sure if we had human children life would be different.

Annie,
As I progess in my own WLS journey, I see so much truth in your statement: Sometimes we find out in certain situations who is there for us. How true it is!! What's been really bizzare to me is the people who crawl out of the woodwork to tell you what a bad decision you've made!! I've really had to look at people's motives for saying what they do and look at who has my best long-term interests @ heart.
Thank you for being a good friend!!
Kelly :)
Welcome back to posting again Kelly
So many people are quick to judge others.
I always try to follow my heart and my feelings.
For those who live in the woodwork I say to them "why dont you try walking in the shoes of a SMO person for a day".
BTW check out this site a friend sent me.
