Just curious.....

I went for my 2 week post op visit yesterday and my Dr told me he wants to refer me to a liver specialist.  He said that my liver has some inflammation and some fibrosis.  Has anyone else had this happen?? He didn't act like it was too serious, but he did say he wanted to have it checked out and see if there was any meds the liver doc would want me on. Thanks! <3 Beth

Hey Beth,  I had to go see Dr. Russo  on Jan 16th because my liver results were elevated and Dr. Kuwada wanted to have it checked out before I returned to work to make sure he didn't miss anything. I was OK. Dr. Russo said it happens sometimes in overweight people. It may level out like mine did.  Will you be seeing Dr. Russo also? He is very nice. Reenie

Yes, I think that is the name that Dr Gersin told me.  They haven't given me my appointment yet, he wanted my info faxed over first.  It is very reassuring that someone else had to go too!  Thanks! <3 Beth
