Hi All,

Just a quick note to let you know that I talked with Jennifer and she's doing WONDERFULLY!! She's walked already and is sounding 'right as rain.' She said that from a pain perspective it feels like she had quite a workout at the gym, but that it's definitely manageable. She thinks she may get to go home tomorrow. Right now, she'd just love something cool to drink ... and those of us who've been through it can truly relate.

Let's all give her a warm welcome to the "Loser's Bench."

Thanks Barb, and everyone, for the welcome to the "other side".  I did come home on Thursday afternoon (1 day post-op), but I was soooo happy to have something to drink on Thursday morning!  Can't believe how dry my mouth was. Anyway, I'm doing pretty good.  So far, no nausea, and I'm able to get my liquids in w/o problem.  I alternate between one of the Isopur drinks & the "milky" protein drinks each day. Thanks again for the support.  Can't wait to see the weight really start coming off.  I'm already back to where I was on the morning of my surgery, but my rings are looser than they were on Wed
