Lap Band Surgery Tomorrow
Nope...they did give me a prescription for loratab. I used that at night to sleep because I had hurt my back the morning before surgery and it was bothering me so bad I couldn't sleep. The only pain I had from surgery was my port incision. It was a sharp, pulling pain when I moved wrong or when I crawled out of bed in the mornings. It's been two weeks today and I barely notice it. It hurt pretty good for about 9 days though. Otherwise, I was fine. Good luck, again.

Hi Lizzie,
I know you are nervouse, but that's normal because this is a BIG deal that will change your life forever ... in the best possible ways. Remember all of the reasons that you are doing this, all of the advantages of living life with a lower BMI, your quality of life will go through the roof, your health will improve and the cherry on top is that you'll get to wear 'cuter' clothes!
Hang in there,

Lizzie......
I'll be keeping you in my thoughts tomorrow. For me, the apprehension was worse than the surgery! It really was nothing at all pain-wise. I think I took a pain pill after just as a precaution, but really didn't need anything more than liquid tylenol. Be gentle to yourself and write how it goes when you can. If you have any ?'s, don't be afraid to PM me. Good luck and Happy Re-Birthday in advance!
