I have a Cold! Help

I thought I had a list of acceptable medicine.  I can't seem to fine it.  I am stuffed up and have a runny nose.  I feel like I am sliding down hill.  Only two months out.  any suggestions. Thanks in advance. Liz

Perhaps some tylenol cold meds. I believe pretty much that is what we are able to take. Tylenol products. I hate to hear you are sick and hopefully you can knock it out quickly. Lisa

Welcome to my world!  I was miserable last week, felt like I was dying from a cold.  One day, sounded like a man my voice was so froggy!   I survived on Tylenol Cold and Theraflu liquid.  I think I took Nyquil one night because I was so miserable and couldn't sleep.  And Halls makes a sugar-free cough drop, too.  This has to be the WORST time of the year possible to have a cold.   

I know exactly how you feel! I had a bad cold last week! I took Dayquil and nyquil. It knocked it out! I feel much better! I hope you get to feeling better!

Don't forget some of the comfort remedies like vicks vapor rub or those shower tablets that help with a hot shower (I think Sudafed makes them)

Since surgery I have had more colds in a year than I have had in the last 20 years.  I have found ZiCam in any form works for me.  I start using it at the first sign of a cold.  I use the dissolvable tablets or the nasal swabs.   If I am able to use it right away I get over the symptoms in 1-2 days.  If I wait longer it usually reduces the severity of the cold and limits it to 3-4 days.   I have also started taking Echinacea when I am at school and around kids.  I usally take it for three weeks on and 1 week off.  I have not had a cold since starting this.  I use Amway (Quixtar) products.
