TWO'S LAND IS FUN.....LOL....

You have done an incredible job with your tool. Isn't it incredible to watch all of the wonderful changes that take place as our bodies melt away? I love reading the Wow's you have been experiencing.
In answer to your question; believe it or not, even though I'm down to a size 4/6 I still sometimes see a chubby girl looking back at me. Other times, I'm startled by the slender woman staring back at me. Strange isn't it? I think this happens for a variety of reasons, but mostly I think that it really takes our heads a while to catch up with the incredible progress our bodies are making. I also think that there are a number of us that only have a 'fat' identity, especially as adults. When you have only known yourself as a big person, sometimes it's hard to reset the expectation. Another thing I think happens, is that while there is a part of us that recognizes and even punishes ourselves for being big, I think that we still 'protected' ourselves from just 'how big' we were before. I think that we really focused on the 'head and shoulders' view of ourselves, so that we didn't really 'look' at the whole picture very often before. Now we do ... and when we do, we are more critical, we 'see' the extra weight even more as we slim down and long for every vestige of that extra to be 'gone.'
It is a process and it takes time ...more time for our heads to adjust than for our bodies to lose the weight. That's one of the reasons I go ahead and comment about my 'batwings' or feeling big, when I 'know' I'm now slender ...not to whine or go fishing for compliments, but so that others will know that I feel this way and maybe I'll find out that I'm not alone and/or crazy ... and, so that they won't feel so alone and/or crazy either.
Congratulations again on making into twotersville and I wish you continued success as you make your way towards Onderland.
