Optisource Shortage

Ok, so I went into Walgreens today to purchase my next supply of vitamins since I'm almost out. So were they. Talk about panic. I asked and was told that they were back ordered and weren't sure there would be in on the truck tomorrow. I thought ok, I'll check online. Even at walgreens.com it's a preorder date of 6/19. So I started to look elsewhere and I keep coming up with something called Resource Optisource. I found it at Bariatric Advantage so I at least now it's a reliable site, but do you think it's the same or close enough to it. Of course it costs more, but at this point I'm going to run out in 2 days and can't rely on my Walgreens in town. What would you do?  I'm also ordering iron at Bariatric Advantage because SS called today to tell me my iron is low. Didn't see but one type of iron supplement at Walgreens and it was a softgel cap. BA has chewable.

I have two Walgreens in town.  I'll go to them and see if they have some and ship to you, if you want.. Or I'll be in Greenville Wednesday afternoon if you wanna meet. I don't mind.

Thanks Andrea. That would be great if your's has them in stock. Two of ours here didn't. I did order from Walgreens.com. Pre-ordered for June 19th. If you're coming to town, then I'll meet up with ya if our schedules work out. I'm teaching summer school, but get out at 1:30. That way I won't have to skip a day and it appears you can never have too much for such instances as this.

Well.. I checked.  I'm sorry, but they're out, too. I tried :-(

I use Bariatric Advantage.  You only take 2/day vs. 4/day of the Optisource, and the cost to me is 1/2 as much, too.  I get them at my surgeon's office.

I went today and both walgreens in wilson didn't have any!! I only have two tablets left!! PANIC!!!

I went through the same thing on Friday. Had a $5.00 coupon and just assumed I could use it to get us some vitamins... there are TWO of us taking them now so they go fast! But, the GOOD news is I talked the CVS pharmacist on Firetower into ordering them!!! I talked to her last week and she said they *hoped* they will get them in the store on June 18 (Wednesday). I told her if she did, she would SELL OUT!!! She said not to tell anyone yet, bc they want to make sure they can get them in, so as soon as she calls me to say they are in, I'll post and let you all know!!! When I didn't need them, it seems Walgreens had plenty. I guess we all are running out about the same time!!! Hopefully we will get CVS carrying them so that will help some. I'll keep you posted.
