In 53 short days...

I"m having surgery. cha cha cha... I'm having surgery  cha cha cha... Did I tell you that I'm having surgery in 53 days cha cha cha....

8-8-8 I can hardly contain myself.  Called Cigna to check my status this morning and I think I may have deafened the poor woman who handled my call. What a Monday. Then I called Dr. MacDonald's office and Sarah had just gotten my approval as well. I go to him on July 15th for my final pre=op appointment and surgery is scheduled at Pitt for Friday August 8, 2008. That also happens to be the start of the olympics as well.  He could have done my surgery in July but because of Vacations already scheduled in the office I had to push my date back. I'm better than OK with that. I've got a date - oh yeah - cha cha cha - oh yeah - who's going to be a skinny ***** - me me me me me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm telling you I think that you've cleared the hardest part of this journey ... insurance approval. Not that you won't have some challenges ahead, but you are on your way to a new, healthier you ... and you get to wear skinny clothes to boot! What could be better?!
