Caroline,

I'm so very glad to hear that you are finally on the mend and will hopefully be able to finally reap the rewards and benefits of the WLS you had. I'm not sure if you will be strong enough to join us this month, but I'm hoping to see you again soon my friend.

Love,

Barb

P.S. Let me know when you are up to an afternoon or evening out so we can go see Sex in the City!

Barb...I am so ready to see that movie!!  I may not make it this month, but, don't count me out because I am working hard on trying to recover.   I am TRYING to take it easy, but, I find that to be hard...I am not that type of person.   But, I have to keep drinking my water and getting my protein in and rest.   I gave my husband Wii Fit for Fathers Day and our Anniversary, so we are all going to get back to exercising.  I can't lift anything past 5 lbs. for another 2 weeks.    This is going to be slow due to where the surgery was.  BUT...it is going to happen :) Thank you for keeping up with me.....everyone.    I have been keeping up with your daughter and pray for you both.  I hope that she is well.    Your photos are awesome!!! Caroline,

Thanks so much for the well wishes for Sarah. She is improving daily. We went for another arduous physical therapy appointment today. It's hard to see her work through the pain and cry, but I know that it is for the greater good and in the end she will be stronger than before.

Did they ever determine if your condition was related to the WLS or did it trigger an existing condition, or was it just bad luck that it reared it's ugly head about the same time you had your surgery?

I'm so very glad that it was identified and seems to be resolved and I know that you and your family are as well.

Wishing you (and your family) a gentle and speedy recovery.

Barb

I am so glad you are feeling better. I have not been on the site for about a week but have been around for a while as I guess most would say 'lurking around' but have been wanting to get involved with all the wonderful people in North Carolina! I hope you do well and do not over do it but take care of yourself and I hope you feel better each day! Susan C.
