the animal farm
We have 4 beutiful baby rabbits that Lee and I have saved from Mr. Tink since last night.
All are doing well and are warm and safe in my squirrel cage in the kitchen.
Raising rabbits is not like raising baby squirrels it is more difficult.
It is almost 5am but as soon as it is a proper time I am going to call a rabbit rehabber to hopfully meet us or come get the babies.
One good thing is when Tink started bringing in the baby rabbits this made Lee move the squirrel cage out of my workout room so we can put the rowing machine in there LOL
Thank you all for your kind words about my mom yesterday with the visit from the priest went very well and it was nice to share in communion with my mom and the priest.
My nephew came by while I was there and he said I looked like a hottie Oh My that made me feel really good.

Hi Annie,
I'm delighted to hear that your visit with your Mom and your priest went so well. The comment from your nephew must have been the cherry on top!
Good luck with the baby rabbits.

From one Farmer Girl Hottie to another,
LOL... I understand what you mean about getting your workout area back! Rex and I now have 8 hens, 2 roosters and a duck along with our cats, fish and ****atiels... The other day I was so excited because we got the last set of hens out of my "craft" room to be. I was just getting it into order when he came over and had rescued 3 more chicks (2 hens and a rooster). They barely had their eyes open and here we go again! Well one of the hens didn't make it that first night but the other 2 are doing well... Next time he says he has a surprize for me I'm going to be suspicious!!! I told him to remember that for every hen he brings over that we're going to have an egg every day once they start laying. So we're up to 8 hen eggs and 1 duck egg every day starting in probably September/October. When Rex and I first started dating he had 2 hens and a rooster and he couldn't eat all the eggs between he and his son. Last year we had 4 hens, a duck and a rooster and they kept my whole family and us well into eggs all season.... NOW 8 hens and 1 duck - YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok, I'm done... lol!!! I'm just as bad as he is, I love them too!
Anyway, enough of that... lol! I'm glad you had a good visit with your Mom and the Priest and it is always nice to get a compliment! I hope things get better between you and your Sister, she's just hurt right now and will probably see this is actually a better situation soon.
Take care of them babies girl! And tell Lee happy Father's day!!!!!!!!
(((hugs)))
