Well you came to the right place for support and to ask any questions.  Read some of our profiles if you have the time, I think you'll see that we've all been where you are (but some of us are older... a lot older.. yikes!).  Anyway, best of luck to you and welcome to the NC board!!!!

Welcome Red .... ask us any questions  you may have , this is the place to be.  I had gastric by pass March 2006 and have lost over 150 pounds. I used Dr Melkonian and he and his staff were wonderful , although I don't think he does lapband... good luck dear and welcome to the board, we all have been where you are and some are in your same shoes, whatever the case we all welcome you to our little world.

Welcome to the NC message boards. If you look around, you will find you will get all kinds of support. I am not from Charlotte, but am from Mount Airy, and I have already been able to get a lot out of the support from all over the board. I have seen it do wonders for my self esteem and it helps me when I have bad days.  No one on this site will look differently at you nor judge you for anything! It helps to have people like that in our corner when we are looking to lose or are losing weight or have not had surgery yet. So welcome and good luck. If there is anything I can do just let me know!
