Anyone interested in Goodwill Hunting next Saturday, June 21st after the Perkins Get Together?

I was thinking about going "Goodwill Hunting" after the meetup next Saturday and was wondering if anyone might want to join me? There are several good consignment shops and some thrift/goodwills in the area. I'm going to post it on http://wls.meetup.com/101 as an activity. I thought we might caravan around a bit. I'll put together a list of shops with addresses. After some shopping, maybe we can stop for a late lunch/early dinner.

 

Oh, that sounds like so much fun!!!  Unfortunately I have a baby shower to go to in the afternoon.  As a matter of fact, I'll probably have to duck out of Perkins a little early too.  But I will be there for a bit!

I'm sorry you miss it, but we'll do it again soon. Did you notice that the dress I'm wearing in the photos I posted that were taken with Sarah is the one we got when we went Goodwill Hunting last time? I didn't have to move the buttons ... my waist moved instead. LOL

I think this is a great idea! I so wish I lived in Raleigh, b/c I'd be all about these get-togethers. With being an hour away, gas prices out of control and James still recovering from surgery, I can't make it this time. Hopefully I'll be able to join you all again and I'd love to get a Greenville area get together organized sometime soon so maybe some of our eastern NC girls can make it... I am still hoping to make it to the Aug mtg in Raleigh though. Have a blast and find some good deals for me!!! :)

I'm so sorry that we won't see you this time, but I certainly understand. I won't be here for the August Get Together because I'll be in CA for my son's wedding, but Annie is going to hold down the fort for me so that we'll have the monthly Get Together as scheduled. If you decided to start one in your area and need or want any help, just yell. I think that there are enough folks in your area to make it worth while.

Barbara, I am so glad my previous commitment for Saturday has been rescheduled, so I can now attend the meeting!  I just spoke with Lisa W and I will be riding with her to Perkins and then "GoodWill Hunting". I had so much fun the last time I was able to attend, I had been really disappointed that I was unable to attend the following meetings.  I look forward to seeing you and everyone else......Carrie
