Little wow moment for me!!

I had to share. I was playing around with my camera this morning and took some head shots. OMG I have a chin, and I wasn't disgusted by this pic. I am at work now, and will try to upload the pics later this evening. Also, I am only 17 pounds away from underland. I can't wait. I am starting to LOVE my RNY. I can't believe the bones that are starting to show, I never knew I had this many just thought I was mostly sugar and fat. Ha Ha.  I hope everyone has a great day. Awww! Thank you. But enough about me, how are you and James doing?

You are very welcome. We are ok. James is still in a LOT of pain and his pain meds are running out. He is so ready to get back to "normal". I keep telling him it WILL get better, but it's still hard at this stage in recovery.  On top of it all, he is still taking his last two classes (one of which is a 5-week class). It is Accounting and he is struggling. It's a very difficult class and for someone who has only made like 3 Bs in his entire time at ECU, he is praying to just pass the course. it's hard to be in pain and have to study material you aren't familiar with.  Other than that, we are ok... Thanks for the continued prayers though. Hope you are having a good day!

Good for you Danielle!  I remember the first time I took a pic and was not totally disgusted by how I looked.  It is SO worth every step of this journey to feel comfortable in your own skin.  I cannot wait to see your new pics!!!

Jennifer,   It was kinda wierd but it felt amazing, b/c the last pic I took,(they were my before) I kringed at the sight of them. It keeps getting better and better.

Congratulations Danielle!  That's fabulous for you.  It sounds like things are really going well.  I'm almost 2 months out and I've hit a stall.  No weight loss in 2 weeks, so I'm upping the protein, lowering the carbs and cranking up the exercise.  Keep us posted on your progress.  Can't wait to see the pics!
