Another Step Closer

Hi everyone.  I just had some testing done at Rex Hospital for insurance approval.  I had my very first ever (but I understand it won't be my last!) barium swallow, and I had to have a pulmonary function test and arterial blood gas test done due to asthma.  This is the last thing I had to do before being submitted to United Health Care.  My body lately has been letting me know it's time for this surgery.  It's so hard to get up and even walk much right now.  This is not how I want to live my life.  I want to be outside with my husband and kids as they play.  acceptance is coming more and more that it's time.   I'll keep you updated!  Vickie
