I Want To Be Clear Here

Oh dear... I hope my post about my reaction to the video did not offend.  I had hoped I had made my tongue-in-cheek statement of preference clearly tongue-in-cheek by referring to how we RNYers have our guts ripped out and our stomachs chopped off in the procedure that I prefer.  Like you, I salute ALL of us who chose to take action against their disease and for their overall health.  I just have this "thing" about foreign substances in my body.  But as I said before, I had NO qualms about what others might consider disfigurement in my procedure.  We are so blessed to have a "wrench to fit every nut" in the various forms of WLS.  Everyone gets to make their OWN PERSONAL choice. That being said, if my response to your video post offended anyone, I extend my sincere and most humble apologies.

Funny you said about having something in foreign in your body.....I was talking to my mom the other day and I was like what I am going to do when I am 80 w/ this thing in my body. For real will it stay in there forever or will I ever have to have it taken out. Makes me wonder....tomorrow makes 3 yrs and I am 34 so I have some time to worry about that. haha......  Again I wasn't offended by anything anyone said....I think it's great to get the opinions of others. :-)

Mare, I'm sure nobody took offense but I would have explained also.  Ok, that out of the way...  You're doing wonderful woman!  I'm soooo happy for you and you look great!  I'm sorry you're still stalled but I really think your body is readjusting, mine did that several times during my honeymoon (Dang I miss my wonderful honeymoon! LOL!)...  Anyway, just keep doing what you're supposed to be doing and everything will work out.   Love ya girl! Sheryl

Mare, Your just too sweet!!!! The video was just information. Just like all the live RNY surgeries I watched on line. Information is power for any of the wls types. If anone else has links to information I am always interested. I love my surgery...Lap banders love theirs..DS people love theirs and the Vertical sleeve people love theirs. We  ALL have the same goal...Health..and normal living..no matter what path we chose. Bring it on mare I LOVE information HG Myrtis
