Wicked! Looky Here! (From Main Forum)
Oh sweet lord...I would pass out at every appointment if they came at me with that needle.
I could even see myself jumping up off of the table and taking off. LOL!
Thanks for sharing that...I've been curious about how the procedure is done. I have so much respect for all of you banders who do this on a regular basis! I am not kidding when I say I would pass out at the sight of that needle. LOL!!

I've been curious too.... But I don't do needles, it's bad enough having to go get little shots for allergies once a week... I always feel like I'm going to pass out with just that... ugh! I love my RNY!!!!!

Thanks for showing this Mare.........I just hope it does not turn off anyone who had their heart set on the surgery. I love my band and I am totally afraid of needles. On my first fill I almost had a panic attack because I was so scared of the needle. In all actuality, I lay down, turn my head and the only thing I feel is a pinch when the anestetic is given, then nothing. I keep talking to the nurse to keep my mind from wandering and it's done before you know it. Sometimes the visual is worse than the actual procedure. Now it's no big deal having it done.......it's just a walk in the park. Had I saw this video beforehand, I might have let my paranoia change my mind, so I'm glad I didn't see it before.
