This Is CRAZY!!!!!!!!
DOn't worry Mare, the same thing happened to me between 4-5 months... I only lost about 5 pounds and thought, this can't be it!!!!! But, I think it's just your body trying to adjust to all the weight you've been losing, sometimes it just has to say "whoooooowwww". Just keep up the protein and exercise, the scales will start moving again!

Mare,
Firstly, congratulations b/c you look great!!! I noticed your avatar a few days ago and you look so wonderful! Secondly, I have been losing about 10 pounds a month for the past few months. While it isn't what I would PREFER to see, it is going down. It equals out to 2-3 pounds a week which is normal. I try to look at it like the slower I lose, the less skin I'll have (although I know I WILL have it and already do
). What I'm trying to say is we all have been there. I know it's hard not to see it moving faster on the scale, but go back and remind yourself that you ARE losing and if you are like me, you wouldn't have been able to do it without WLS.
Keep up the good work. You are doing so well!!!!!!!!!!! (((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))))

It's a BOY!
Rant away, Mare! The majority of us have been there (or will be.) I've only lost 2 pounds in the last month. And even closer to the beginning of it all, I'd have stalls for 1, 2 and even 3 weeks at a time. Definitely measure, because I'm sure you'll see changes there. From the start of this journey, everytime I've gone down a size, it's been towards the tail end of a stall. I wouldn't have any weight loss for awhile, suddenly I'd realize it was time to buy smaller jeans. Then a few days later, I'd start losing againg. Goofy. Hang in there, your tool is working and you're perfectly normal! :)
Hey Mare...you have done awesome! We need to remember to look at the big picture. You have lost over 70 lbs in 4 months. My wt loss varies. I can lose 4 lbs a few weeks and then 1 in two weeks and i still keep doing the same thing. Think there are a lot of variables, especially with women and our hormones. Keep your chin up and know you are doing good and just keep plugging away. We need to have patience (hey pot..this is the kettle calling..lol) or learn to have it. Keep up the great work and appreciate all the work you have done!

Girlfriend,
You are down 117 lbs. Big, big changes for your body. You may have a few weeks of slower weight loss but it's still movement. I weigh every day even though 5-6 days out of 7 I say bad words and get on and off the scale 3 times looking for a loss. Let me be clear though that the 1-2 days of weight loss every week is SWEET. I've never lost 79 lbs. before, never had a whole new wardrobe, or felt this marvelous. I don't fret as long as every week I make some progress, might be in pounds, might be in inches, sometimes in a clothing size. Try to remember if you see a huge jump, it's probably fluid (dehydration), not fat loss. Slow and steady will get us to goal. Take care, Teresa
Mare I average about 10 lbs a month and am quite happy with those numbers. I think as we get smaller the inches come off with fewer pounds lost. I know I am a slow looser compared to others but as long as the pounds go down instead of up I am happy. But sometimes I GET IMPATIENT ALSO. When will this wop sided hernia belly go away. Probably never. I don't know if ps will make it right. Mare you are doing great. Just think where we came from.
