WOW!

Hello everyone!!!! So, I'm turning 30 in a few days (boooo!) and my license was expiring. I'm flying to Texas on Friday so I had to go get it renewed before the trip or I wouldn't have been able to fly home on Monday. So I went to the DMV place and the only place to sit was one of those dreaded classroom style desk/chairs. I've always hated those because I never fit. So I sit in it and WOW, I fit AND I had about 4-5 inches between my belly and the desk part. It's these small WOW moments that make me so very thankful for my RNY. They seem to not happen very often, but when they do it makes me so very happy! Hope you are all well! Becky

Since I just turned 50, 30 seems wonderfully young ... it's all in your relative perspective I guess. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! I think my 30's were my best decade in many ways and just think, you have already given yourself the best birthday present ... a healthier you! I think that you will find those WOW moments piling up faster than you might think. Be sure to jot them down. You might be surprised at just how many you will 'collect.'

        30??? Why you're just an itty bitty baby, aren't ya?! LOL Hope it's as fabulous as you are.         I can relate to the desk/chair deal. I consider fitting into a booth a HUGE milestone for me.       Also, my steering wheel is no longer in the "highest up" setting to make room for my big fat gut. Thanks ladies! :) Sorry I've been MIA. Summer school, concerts, trips, and the pool are keeping me busy! :) I lurk everyday....just don't get a chance to post as much as I once was. I'll get some new pictures up soon. :)
