Getting Nervous!!!!
I'm sure that you are somewhat nervous, but I'll bet you are also incredibly excited. Just think, tomorrow is the beginning of the most incredible metamorphosis you will probably ever undergo ... maybe with the exception of pregnancy ... It is profoundly, life-changing in the most positive sense. If you haven't done so already, be sure to take pictures of yourself, fullbody view ... front, back and profile. Also be sure to use a tape measure to get all of your measurements. Sometimes the scale will be stingy, but the tape measure will show the progress. When we first start to lose, sometimes it seems like everyone else is noticing the changes in our bodies and we have trouble seeing it. These photos and the measurements you take will help you 'see' the changes that everyone else is telling you that they see. I think that even though we might be hard on ourselves about what we look like, we focus on our faces, or from the 'chest up' and we don't 'really' look at our full body as critically ... hense, the OMG, I hate the picture ... We also often stand behind someone or something. This can give us a false sense of our size and when we do start getting smaller, sometimes we don't see it. Your photos will really help.
I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow. I'm wishing you an uncomplicated surgery and smooth and gently recovery.
