OT... Wedding question...

Some friends of mine did CDs with love music that they had chosen together.  They designed a nice label and all..    Since I am computer savy Id be willing to help with that if you are interested.  School will be out next week and I will need some distractions.  :)

Cool...  I'll keep that in mind too... I knew coming here would help me!  Wouldn't CD's be expensive to make?  I think my computer can do that but I haven't even  tried to play with it...  I'm computer savy enough to get myself out of trouble but that's about it... lol!   Thanks, Sheryl

Hi Sheryl, Recently a friend of mine got married and she did the little chinese takeout boxes with cookies inside.  She loves to bake, so she made heart shaped chocolate cookies drizzled with white chocolate.  And her colors were pink, green and brown, so the boxes were green with these cute homemade tags affixed to the side in pink and brown.  Each box had 3-4 cookies in them, and they were a delicious and thoughtful favor! Congratulations on your wedding, whenever you decide for it to be!

OOooh, I love that idea!  I love to bake/cook also and I could bake the cookies (heart shaped) and freeze them until right before the wedding.  I'm not even sure of our colors yet...  yikes!  I do like that idea!   Oh and thanks for the congratulations!  I'm excited! Sheryl

Be sure and keep us updated. I love weddings so.  And after surgery and I've gotten near goal or to it (if I can wait that long), I'll be tying the knot myself!  But that's a ways off for me.  What an exciting time!  I know I'll have fun planning mine, too! Oh, BTW, those little takeout boxes come in all kinds of different colors!  I was shocked when my friend showed me the color palette she chose from! Congrats on your wedding....I am helping my daughter plan her wedding which will be November 15th this year....we are working with a very limited budget as well...she and I are having to do it all....her dad hasn't helped yet...and probably won't.....So....our best friend has been ebay so far....I found 17 champagne pink overlay tableclothes and paid a total of $37.00.....They were  brand new....and I would have paid 10.00 each to rent them....!! I have ordered her wedding jewlery from there as well ....beautiful but a fraction of the cost as the bridal salon....Party favors??? My daughters wedding is at a vineyard so we are doing wine glasses.....which we are ordering on line as well....I know this is a very exciting time for you....I hope your day goes fantastic.....                                                                                                                         Kim...

Kim, Congratulations on your Daughters big day!!  I know she's happy to have you helping her!  Rex and I are paying for everything too so I am doing my best to keep costs down.  I will have to check ebau out for sure, sounds like you got some great deals!  I just need ideas to even figure out where to begin, but I've gotten some good ones so far!   Have a great night! My best friend got married 2 years ago and she had little fish bowls with an angel fish in it and a packet of fish food. They are fairly inexpensive...if there isn't going to be a "ba-zillion" guests. I thought it was very cute. xoxo   

*ha ha ha* My last post, I promise. Scratch the "fishy" thing. They were part of the table's centerpieces...not a party favor. Sssshhh...I was drunk at that reception so my memory is a bit distorted. BAH HAHAHAHAHA
