It's me! James is still in PACU!

Hey all! First, I'd like to thank Danielle so much for keeping you all updated. She has been great and I really appreciate it.  I have the laptop with me, but mostly i've just gotten online quickly to check email, etc.   James is STILL in PACU. We hope and pray he will get a room tonight, but I just don't know if it will happen. PCMH is busting at the seams. it appears it is a TINY bit better today and I would THINK James would be at the top of the list to get a room, but I just don't know.  He is doing ok and said he isn't in much pain, but he is ready to get up and walk. they had him up once, but that is it. I go back in at 1pm and I'm going to see if I can get him up then. I only get 15 minutes with him though so that is hard. he did have his swallow test this morning and they said it moved "a little slow", but Dr. Mann wasn't too concerned. He has his "first meal" and has had some loratab. He was kind of in and out of sleep.  Pleae pray we can get him in a room today and up and walking!!! I'll update more when I can and sincerely appreciate all of the prayers and support. I tell him everytime I see him that you are all praying for him and he appreciates it. I'm sitting with Angie's (angel327...) family and Donna and she is in anesthesia and waiting for surgery. Please keep her and her family in your prayers also.  Thanks!

Melinda, I am glad to hear that James is doing well.  Hopefully he will get a room soon.  I will keep him and Angie in my prayers for a speedy recovery.  Thanks for keeping us posted!!  Lisa

I'm so glad to hear that James has safely started his journey. I look forward to hearing more as he progresses. Let us know when/if he gets a room. At this rate, they might just discharge directly from the PACU ... LOL.

Hey girl, so glad your man made it through surgery well.  Sorry he hasn't gotten a bed yet.  There are plenty down where Ronnie is....on first floor. 

I am glad James has got a room. (saw danielle's post). I hope he is doing well!! I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers!! Keep us updated!!!
