How long once hoops are jumped through?

Hi everyone, I have Dr. NAziri at Southern Surgical.  I just finished all of the required appointments expect the endoscopy which is scheduled for 6/26.  Does anyone know if you can schedule the Dr. appt, and surgery before the endoscopy?  I am on a schedule of sorts, because I work at a school, and the earlier in the summer I can get this the better for me, also I have 5 kiddos and need a Grandma or 2 to fly down to help:)  I called the office, but they just took my name and #, but I never heard anything back. I am a patient at Southern Surgical and you will have to totally complete all your pre-op stuff before you can schedule the surgery and meet the Doctor. They willl want your results from your Endoscopy before proceeding just in case I had Dr. Mann who is Dr. Naziris partner and you are going to love Dr. Nazari!!! welcome to the board!!!

Fran,   I to have Dr Nazari as my surgeon. I love him to pieces. Give them a couple of days, they stay busy. But I promise they will call you sooner then later. They will try and schedule your decision appt within the next week. Dr Nazari only does his surgery on Mondays and Tuesdays. So they will schedule you for the first opening they have. Mine was less then 2 weeks away. So it will not be that long! It just seems that way. Welcome to the NC Board, you will find the most amazing people on here with lots of answers and support. I hope this eases you a little. Just be patient. I know it gets a little exciting getting this close!!! Danielle

I don't know of the scheduling issues with Southern Surgical, but as you can see we have plenty here who have had a great experience with them.

I did want to take a moment to welcome you to the board and I hope to get to know you as you make your way.

Thanks to everyone.  I think for me, the timing of everything is the most stressful part.  I have 5 kids and work at their school, so trying to get work, and grandparents in town and all is the hardest part!   Fran
