OT: I need to vent to somebody Sorry Its Long

GIRL!!!!! I am soooo sorry that you are going through this!! You wanna know why it is all happening now?? Because your hubby is gone!!! EVERYTHING that can possibly go wrong ALWAYS goes wrong when our hubby's leave...I know from mucho experience!!! The best thing to do is PRAY and take one day at a time!!  Hang in there and know that you are not alone and we do NOT mind your vents :) that is what we are here for, SO VENT ON!!!! I wish I were closer, I would so be there to help you out, even if it's just some adult conversation at the end of the day!!

Jami I know it always seems for everything to go wrong when they leave.  When he was deployed just in the first 3 months I found out my dad died, I had back diesease and I was at home by myself with a newborn.  So yeah I know exactly what you mean.  It just makes us stronger women.  Im so nervous about tomorrow I will let you know how it goes when I get back.  Talk to u soon.  Oh and cant wait to meet you already.  Ha. I met Dr. Pender and his parnter or other person that works with him when I had my first consult.  A lot of people say he is really not that nice and coldmbecause hes straight by the book and wants you to know that this is a major surgery you are going to do and doesnt mess around.  But when I met him he was real nice and he was very serious but I like that.  He did smile too.  I should be getting a call in 2 weeks to schedule my decision visit.  They have to wait till they have everything from  every doctor so all they are waiting for is my pysch eval.  But I will let you know.

Thanks Mindy.  The psych eval was alright, she wanted to make sure that im starting the necessary things to get myself ready for the surgery and made sure this is really what I wanted.  She was ok.  Dont prefer to go to another one but oh well.   Amanda

Hey !!! how is Addy today? i just wanted you to know that my son went thru something similiar ( reacting to steroids and benadryl) have you tried the bubblegum flavor? he tolerated that. i buy everyhing bubblegum now.. just thought it might help take careand keep us posted

Thanks Melissa  Well the steriod medicine she was just allergic to it.   So they changed it.  The benadryl she did take was bubblegum flavor.  She doesnt have a hard time taking medicine so thats good.  Shes still sick but getting better each day.   Amanda
