It's been a sad few days
I had really been focusing on getting through the whole process to have WLS...Still have not decided whether to do lapband or RNY...I requested another appt. with the surgeon. This is not something I take very lightly. I think they were a little put out by all of it, but at least they scheduled one. So, I've been really focused on research and trying to make my mind once in for all. Then yesterday, I went to work (I'm a special ed. teacher in a middle school) and I was advised that my position was cut for next year. I'm just so completely devastated. I've been with the school for 2 years and love it there. If they can't find me another position, I will lose my insurance and not be able to have surgery. I also have two children (8 months and 4 years) to try to support. I would appreciate any prayers for my family and me.

Hi Michelle,
I'm so very sorry to hear that you are having a hard time. I hope that you'll be able to find another job at the school you love so, but ultimately I hope you'll find a job teaching special ed or otherwise. There is such a demand for teachers, I'm sure you'll be able to find a position.
I'll be keeping you and yours in my thoughts an d prayers.
