Approved for revision w/Dr. Baumans office

I found out last Friday that my insurance Federal Blue Cross Blue Shield has approved my revision surgery!  My surgery date is scheduled for July 10th.  My previous surgery was 8 1/2 years ago with Dr. Rutledge (for those of you who know of him).  It was a mini-gastric bypass but I am converting to the true RNY.  I hope the 2nd time around is a charm.  I'm trying to learn from my previous mistakes with my old surgery.  I now know that surgery is not the magic cure and that you can regain your weight back.  The best part is the upfront fees.  I only have to pay Dr. Bauman's office $94.00 and the hospital is only requiring $100.00 upfront!

That is awesome!  Congratuations.   Only about 6 weeks away!   When i had my RNY i had to pay 598 as a copay and was happy about that...you must be thrilled. Take care and good luck!! Pam

Congrats on your approval and your date!!  That is great.  I have Federal Blue Cross Blue shield also....It is great, Love them!  Your in good hands with Dr. Bauman, I love him too.  Guess I'm in a Loving mood today!
