OT: What to do in Charlotte?

Hubby asked if I wanted to tag along with him when he went for a meeting and stay a few extra days.. What are the things we should do if we come? (Yeah, I know.. Google.. but for those that live there, that is the best way to get info). Keep in mind, we'll have both kiddos with us.

Depending on the age of the kids - there is Carowinds, there is also the National White Water park - its more than rafting and they have some kid orientated things.. rock climbing, biking trails and what not... there is Discovery Place Science Museum and along with that there is a Childrens Library that has lots of kid friends activities (I dont know the name, just know its same spot as the museum!)... of course there is the mall :-) there are a few local farmers markets to check out as well.. thats all I can really think of... I dont have kids so I am not as familiar with the kid friendly side of Charlotte!

When are you coming Andrea?  Maybe we can plan a little dinner.  :)

Would be the 24th and 25th. Hubby probably has to be back in town on the 26th (he has training.. although he didn't remember it!) and I'm going to Myrtle Beach to meet up with some ladies on the 23rd.
