Alice is doing well! I just talked to her...

I just spoke with Alice on the phone. She came through surgery fine and is in a little pain. She said something happened and they had to go back in, so a 1.5 hour surgery turned into a 3 hour surgery, but she is okay now... She said she's pretty sore and it is in more pain than with the RNY, but overall she sounded to be in good spirits. I told her we were all thinking about her and that Mare and a few others had asked about her. She sent her thanks!  Marinda (her daugther) was supposed to post, but I told her we realized she probably got too busy to think about it.   She said they don't know if they got it all, but hopefully will find out when the pathology reports come back in a few days. She should be in the hospital 3-5 days so it sounds like she'll be there through the weekend. If anyone wants her phone number, shoot me a PM and I'll send it to you. I'll stay in touch and update with any changes. Thanks for keeping her in your prayers.

Thanks so very much for your post. I've really been concerned about her and I truly appreciate it. Please let her know that she has been and will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. I look forward to hearing that she has a good pathology report.

Thanks for the update!  I have been wondering how things went but hadn't had a chance to get back on line to check.  Hopefully by now she's out of the hospital and the pain has subsided a lot.  Please let her know she's still in my prayers!  Sheryl
