I got my cardiac eval appointment changed from 8/3 to July 10th. Whoo Hoo! I also have my pulmonary eval scheduled for Jun 13. Now all that is left is my psych. The office is closed today so I'll have to try to find out when that one is later this week. I originally wasn't going to change any of my appointments up for the simple reason that I have to stop smoking for 3 months before I can have my surgery. Then I got to thinking, well if I stop smoking now, (which I have), then by the time all the evals, approvals and visits with Dr Mann, and my surgery is scheduled that should put me at 3+ months out. Boy is that good incentive for me to fight these cravings!

Donna, Congratulations on changing appointment dates! How many doctors did you have to see to get all of the test completed? I'm hoping it's only a couple.

I think it's 7 altogether (although some are not drs. ) These are the tests/consults I'm required to have. Surgeon Ultrasound Endo Psych cardiac pulmonary nutrition

WHOOOOOHOOOO DONNA!! whos your pulmonary appt with? what time mine is at physicians east 8 am.. ultrasound is tomorrow yes what an incentive it is for you im so happpppppppppppy for us

ohhhhhh pooooooohhhh! Mine is with Dr. Nall on 6/13. Not sure of the time. They are supposed to call me back next week with that. Having this incentive is helping but not completely taking away the CRAVINGS. But that plus time is taking care of this. We are getting closer to the front of the line everyday!!!!!!!!! Go US!!!!!!!!!1

Congratulations on stopping smoking - I am sure you will start to feel better just because of that. I know it must be a real craving but good for you for overcoming it!!!!

Thank you so much for your encouragement!!!!!!! I need this sssssoooooooooooo MUCH!!!! I'm sure I'm going to have some really whinny tough days but I know I can come here and get the help I need. You guys are great!
