Hi Annie,

You are right. It has been hard, but she is a trooper and as her mother, it's my job to be her advocate and get her what she needs. We are both doing what we need to do and it looks like we might have turned the corner.

Thanks for the good thoughts.

Of course you are both in our prayers, but I wanted to also tell you, Barb, you are an amazing woman!  Your thoughtful posts show such a wonderful, deep spirit.  Thank you for sharing yourself with us, and for being such a great role model! God bless, Robin

Barb, the PCM machine may have to come home with you.  You can rent one through a hospital supply place.  I had one when I had my knee replaced and I spent up to 8 hours a day in the darn thing.  I had my portable DVD player on my stomach and my leg doing slow kicks.  This will be absolutely the best form of physical therapy for her.   I hated mine but stuck with it.  I do not walk today with a limp because of that machine.  I hope each day gets better for Sarah.   Tell her to do whatever the therapist ask of her and she will do fine.

Hi Barb, Ive been coming to catch up on the latest each day about Sarah (and you).  Even though I hadn't told you, I have been keeping you both in my prayers.  She can do this, and it does my heart good to see her really working hard at it.  I hope each day sees her getting better and better, and that you both can rest a little easier.  Here's hoping the rest of her recovery will be much smoother.  Kudos to that strong girl of yours!  I know it kills you to see her in pain, but I'm also sure you are so proud of this fine young lady, this real fighter you, and Ben have raised. My continued prayers.  Take care of you, too!  Many, many hugs to you both!
