Are you seeking WLS and have Medicaid?
While researching for information about coverage for nutritionist, I found that they have published proposed changes to their policy regarding WLS
the good thing, they are now hoping to cover DS..... but there are other proposed changes and they can be viewed here:

this was posted on the NCDHHS website on April 24th,....... remember these are proposed changes and I am not sure how quickly they put them into effect once a decision has been made....
Your welcome..... now at this point they are proposed changes and have NOT yet gone into implementation.... and according to officials at Medicaid they are unsure as to when they will be.
But, if you are just starting on the process of getting approved and have not already done your 6mo dr. supervised diet.... I would add in some of the new requirements just in case so your not wasting any time....
Either that or get approved quickly so you do not have to start over again.
I STARTED AT THE NASH SURGICAL WEIGHT LOSS CENTER ON 1/29/08 ALSO ARE DOING MY 6MO DR. SUPERVISED DIET. I'M STILL HAVING A HARD TIME LOSS WEIGHT. SEE I GAIN 2LBS AND LOSS 2LBS ETC,.. IT REALLY MAKES ME SAD. AGAIN THANKS BECAUSE IT WAS REALLY NICE OF YOU TO POST ABOUT THE WEBSITE ! FRIST TIME POSTING TO ANYONE, I JUST READ EVERYONE POSTS.
