My paperwork is on the way to BCBSNC for approval.
I have BCBSNC state employees I was denied the first time due to not having 5yrs of high enough weight . I did have high BP at the time and found out that I am Diabetic . So I could not understand why I was denied. I thought I was in appeal but my appeal was never sent in and I sat around for a month waiting to hear something only to find out I was waiting for nothing. So I start again this time I was approved 3 days after my packet was faxed. So good luck with it I have found my journey very stressful , But I think it will be will worth it very soon . So good luck. I think you will be ok.. My advice would be to call bcbs and stay on top of everything and don't think your Doctors office will do it for you they are very buzy . That was my mistake . Even this go around I lost a week due to BCBS saying they never received my packet I called the doc's office and had them refax. Would have been waiting longer if not for my calling. So be a pain.
