Having Fun With Wii

It is fun.. and I think it will be challenging..   have already keyed in some weight loss goals and it tells you current BMI and goal BMI.. the more you exercise you earn points which in turn adds new "games"  am hoping that will keep it from geetting too boring with new additions being added as you go .  I mentioned in another thread that I rocked at Hula hoop but the short distance run kicked my butt !!!!!!!!!! The Walmart here had plenty today... of course today was the first release date so they may sell out soon.  At this point I highly recommend it.     Pat

So, the Wii Fit is quite entertaining. It is much more difficult than I thought it would be. LOL. I mean, it's a video game....it shouldn't be hard. Anyway. I'm all set up and I love how it measured me as obese (duh) and I didn't love when it took my Mii and made it fatter! Oh well. Maybe the electronic version of me will get skinnier as time goes on. I hula hooped pretty well. I sucked at step aerobics. I ran in place for a full 3 minutes and finished the race but it kicked my butt. That was the end for me. LOL. I workout with my real trainer tonight, so hopefully tomorrow night I will hop back on and see what else I can do. So far I would recommend it to anyone - especially for those of us who dislike exercise. It does make it a lot more fun. :) Becky

Lynn, Wii is fun isn't it!  One of the guys at the Fire department at work has one so I sneak over once in a while and we battle it out!  LOL!!  Also my Nephews have one and just love trying to beat me at ANYTHING, I think they really just like to laugh at me, but whatever... it's fun and great excersize!  I have thought about buying one myself without telling the boys so I can practice... lol! Have fun with it!

I have been addicted to video games for years and have owned Nintendo systems, playstations, and the xbox. We bought the Wii a month ago and are having a ball. I had hit a very slow period with my weight loss and am now back up to 2 or 3 pounds a week. My son is playing Mario Kart right now, but bowling is a family favorite.

I have been a gamer all my life. Probably contributed greatly to my pre op size, but the Wii is great to fight that sit on your @$$ gaming. Try Toys R Us. I went in and asked about when they would have some in stock. They were able to tell me exactly when to come back to be sure to get one.
