Crushed Pills

How do you take pills that have to be crushed? Putting them in water is not working too well. Thanks!!! goldie23

I use my pill crusher and it makes them almost a power.  I usually take them just like a pill and follow with a sip of water or un-sweet tea.  I only have a problem with one that taste terrible.  I wish I has some other ways to take them as well the one pill is real hard to get down.  By the way how are you doing? I have a capsule I must take each day - I open it up and mix it in with vanilla sf pudding and 1/2 scoop cookies and cream protein mix (14 grams of protein) - I can not taste the RX at all - and it was really nasty tasting when I put it in liquids - I was also afraid it would not work as well - but it does!

I am on antibiotics for an abcess tooth and the dentist was able to give me a liquid.  It is the most vial, disgusting, slimey thing i ever tasted and the first morning I took it, I wasn't able to hold it down.   I now stop at Wendy's and get a small chili and gulp it and follow it with 2 spoons of chili as the spicey gets rid of the taste.   In the morning i drink my CIB and gulp and follow with more CIB and a small pc of melba toast which absorbs the bitter taste somewhat. No wonder my son used to fight it when he was a baby. Take care and good luck, Pam
