Hi everyone just wanted to let you all know that I am home.  I have been doing pretty good just very sore.  I got home about 4:00 Friday.  It was hard for me to get my water in after I got home because I was so sleepy and I have a bad headache.. Hopefully things will be better each day.   Thanks for all your support and for cheching on me. Lisa

Hi Lisa,

Welcome to the loser's bench my dear! Keep sipping and walking. Sometimes the headaches can be due to dehydration, so be careful. It is my understanding that the one of the biggest reasons we can end up in the hospital post surgery is dehydration, so it's really important to get in those fluids and right now that means sipping constantly.

Wishing you all the best,

Barb

Welcome home Lisa.  Yes do keep sipping your water!  Keep walking also.  I was also sleepy than I would wake up at 3 am thinking something was wrong in the house and couldn't get back to sleep.  I think I slept in the recliner for a few weeks since my side was so sore and I could feel every turn my husband made in the bed!  Expect alot of gas too so the walking will help.

Thank you ladies for your support today has been a little better.  I am able to get the water down better and move arounda little better.  It reminds me of when I had to have gallbladder surgery the old way before lapriscopic.  So this is just a hill to get over and I am on my way. Again thanks for your support love you all your a great group!!!

I just walked up and down the halls with my IV walkin g out the gas LOL. You just take it slow this is not a race and you will be full of **** and vinegar in no time flat
