Finished pre-op testing!!!

Well I went to Greenville Thursday morning for the rest of my appointments. An all day thing and oh was I tired when I got back home at 4:30 that afternoon. But I am happy to say I have lost 6 more pounds since my Appointment with Dr. MacDonald and the only thing left is call the afternoon before my surgery date of June6th to see what time I need to be at the hopspital to begin my new life. I am so grateful for this site and everyone being a part of my journey especially my close friends and family. Can't wait to get on the losers bench and be able to post the Wow moments.

That is awesome...only got 3 more weeks to go!  We'll get a spot dusted off on the losers bench for you.  I am 3 months post op and couldn't have done it without the support and encourage I have found here! Good luck and God Bless, Pam

so glad you are finished. im so excited for ya.  if you dont mind me asking, how long did it take you to complete testing before you met with dr macdonald? im always asking everyone how long they have been on this journey. i just had my seminar yesterday so im in the beginning stages. best of luck to you 

Melissa,      I did not take me long at all with Dr.MacDonald because I had already started my process with Dr. Chapman and had already had quite a few test done already. When I moved over to Southern Surgical I had my surgery date scheduled the same day I met with Dr. MacDonald and he only had a few test left for me to do that he reqires and I finished all of them On this past Thursday. The only thing left to do is call the day before to see when I will have to be at the hospital for my surgery. My friend started off with Dr.MacDonald and it did not take her that long at all. Yay, angie!!! I'm so happy for you!  We meet with Dr. Mann on Monday and hope to schedule James's surgery for June 5! It will be great if we are up there when you are!  You are in the home stretch now!!! Good luck continuing the preop diet and I hope to see you soon!

Hello Mindy, Nice to hear from you again and I really enjoyed that support meeting. I am going to try to go tot he next one and bring my Fiancee with me. He has not talked to Dr. MacDonald and since he is the one that is suppose to so the presentation he really wants to talk to him. I can't wait to say well see you Dr. MacDonald in two days. Lol lol lol
