frustration

I've been lurking for the past few days. To everyone who's just joined us - WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!! and to all of the WOW moments and surgery dates - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!  I've not been spending my usual amount of time here because I've found it makes the waiting even harder. My consultation with Dr. MacDonald was on the 6th and they told me they'd be getting everything together and fax it  to CIGNA and then it would take from 2 weeks to 60 days to hear if I was approved or not.  Well ------ I knew my PCP had been out of town for over a week and if Southern Surgical had needed anything else from him they probably hadn't gotten it. So I called Southern Surgical this morning and left a message to see if I needed to do anything else on my end. Just got a phone call that they had had to wait for Dr. Mac's dictation from my appointment and they had just faxed it this morning. UUUGGGGHHHHH>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> I guess my waiting period for approval officially re-begins today. I am so NOT a patient person. Oh well thanks for reading and I know that I'm closer than I've ever been, but goodness it seems like things are moving in slo-motion now. - Iris

I toltally understand about not having patience.  I do not either.  But now that I am approved and have a date it doesn't seem that bad.  Start to fini**** took me 6months.   Hang in there.  Its coming.......... (I know its easy for me to say but really I believe it will happen soon!)

I also am not a patient person but this wt loss has sure taught me I have no choice but to have patience..lol.  Guess i am learning more than one lesson.  Hope you get your approval sooner rather than later. Take care and good luck,  Pam

Just remember this.. good things come to those who wait!!! :) I know that it is aggrivating, but it is well worth it!
